The Community Foundation of Frederick County Scholarship Application

The Community Foundation is making adjustments to our application process to account for delays with the Department of Education's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We know the FAFSA delays are causing frustration and confusion, rest assured we're doing our best to make the application process smooth. Here is what you need to know:

The Community Foundation scholarship application deadline is extended for an additional month - the application will close on April 15.
The application allows for an individual to save and return at a later time to add more information and submit. We encourage students to complete as much of the application as possible and then return to add FAFSA information when they receive it.
Please note that the extension of the application deadline may impact other parts of the scholarship process, but we anticipate that students who are being awarded scholarships will be notified by early June.
